SUMMARY:
CAPE TOWN - Northern Suburbs - IT Team Manager

POSITION INFO:
Our client, a global brand in sportswear is looking for a leader who would align with their culture and ensure optimal functioning of the national IT Infrastructure, for their 300 end-users.
Your performance will be measured against the following indicators:

Budgeting accuracy.
Strategic Alignment with global infrastructure.
Collaboration with other divisions within the business to ensure growth through innovation.
Ensuring that downtime is constantly minimized to 5% or below.
Reporting of Security breaches within the expected time frame.
Leadership of the team

These should be achieved through applying your experience in the following areas:

The Management of the IT Infrastructure
Vendor & Contract Management
Collaboration with both Regional and Global initiatives and ensuring alignment.
Systems support and maintenance.
Technology innovation.
End-user support.
Security and compliance within the global framework.
Team leadership and development.
Ensuring continuous operational excellence of the IT functionality within the business.

A Bachelor’s Degree, minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT Management and a minimum of 4 years’ experience in IT Project Management, will be required for your application to be considered. Experience in a Retail, Wholesale or E-Commerce environment in a Global context, will give your application a competitive edge.
