IT Support Engineer (A+N+VOIP)

SUMMARY:
We are recruiting an Information Technology (IT) Support Engineer to oversee IT operations across national regions, KZN

POSITION INFO:
The primary responsibility will be to provide 1st to 3rd level support for IT infrastructure and support for the BaaN IV ERP system

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage servers, desktops, and laptops.
• Implement and monitor backups and recovery.
• Provide ERP system support.
• Assist users with digital tools.
• Enforce and improve policies.
• Oversee firewall and network equipment.
• Maintain and monitor printers.
• Manage IT budget and procurement.
• Suggest IT upgrades to senior team.
• Customize ERP reports and scripts.
• Update website, intranet, email, and IT assets.
• Support quotation systems.
• Provide user training.
• Manage 3rd party contracts.

• Matric (grade 12) diploma or technical equivalent.
• Certification in A+, N+, MCSA, or a BSC Degree in the relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience.
• Knowledge of networking technologies (VoIP, VPN) and O365, One Drive, SharePoint.
• Familiarity with core Microsoft technologies, Firewall technologies and IPsec tunnels.
• Competent hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Professional appearance, bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
• Capable of working under pressure and managing time efficiently.
• Understanding of time and attendance software and POPIA.
