Our client who is a well-established ICT solutions company is seeking an experienced Server Engineer to join their team.
Location: Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha
Job type: Permanent, on-site
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor installed systems
- Test and maintain operation systems
- Monitor application performance
- Monitor backup and replication status
- Test and maintain disaster recovery plans
- The job includes being part of a rotating after-hours support schedule
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Information Technology
- MCSA/MCSE
- Have 5 years of professional experience with at least 1-year dedicated server experience.
- Office-based and would only need to travel to clients on rare occasions.
