IT Procurement Administrator

This is a 6 month fixed term contract role.

Requirements
Education & Experience:

• Grade 12 certificate (essential).
• Certificate in Procurement Management (required).
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in an IT environment, with at least 4 years in procurement or asset administration.
• Experience with SAP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Prior experience in a group or corporate environment (advantageous).

• Strong knowledge of SAP procurement procedures and ITSM systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently or within a team.
• Cultural awareness and customer service orientation.

• Procurement Management: Handling the end-to-end procurement process for IT hardware and accessories, ensuring timely requisitions, approvals, and deliveries.
• Asset Management: Monitoring, maintaining, and reconciling IT asset records across systems, including SAP. Ensuring assets are effectively allocated, redeployed, or disposed of as per policy.
• Process Governance: Ensuring compliance with financial governance and business policies throughout the procurement and asset management processes.
• Customer Service: Acting as a single point of reference for client orders and maintaining strong relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers.
• Reporting: Providing regular input on budgeting, lifecycle management, and cost-saving initiatives, while maintaining accurate records for audits and financial tracking.
• Support for IT Operations: Assisting with IT project execution, stock-taking, warranty support, and troubleshooting procurement-related incidents within SLA timelines.
