A thriving manufacturing company eager to bring on board a detail-orientated IT Auditor – to join their team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
POSITION INFO:
This role will focus on creating and detailing control frameworks for internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR), IT and operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT auditing, control frameworks, and compliance, with a keen ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable documentation.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Design and develop comprehensive control frameworks for ICFR, operational processes, and IT systems.
- Ensure frameworks align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify control needs and gaps.
- Create detailed documentation for control frameworks, including control objectives, activities, risk assessments, and testing procedures.
- Maintain and update documentation to reflect changes in processes, regulations, or technology.
- Prepare and present reports on control framework design and effectiveness to stakeholders
- Conduct risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations to enhance control environments.
- Identify opportunities for improving control frameworks and processes.
- Develop and deliver training to relevant stakeholders on control frameworks and best practices.
Requirements:- Com in Internal Auditing/ Information systems/ Accounting
- CISA and CIA certification (essential)
- Minimum 1 – 3 years of experience in IT Auditing
- Experience in IT internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR)
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
