Our client in the financial services sector is seeking an IT Auditor to join their team.

In this position, you will partner with the Director of Internal Audit to provide objective, value-driven assurance on the effectiveness of the internal control framework, with a focus on IT-related risks. Duties:

• Apply internal audit framework, charter, and methodology.
• Conduct risk and control assessments across the business.
• Plan and execute management and ad hoc audit assignments.
• Document detailed process flows and perform control walkthroughs.
• Identify key risks and controls, and assess their adequacy.
• Define testing strategies and select samples for analysis.
• Perform fieldwork and evaluate control effectiveness.
• Utilise data analytics to support audit findings.
• Summarise findings and recommendations, and work with management on action plans.
• Finalise audit files according to best practices and methodology.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BSc Informatics / Financial Systems or IT
• BCom Honours
• CIA or CISA

• Minimum of 5 years as an IT Auditor
• Big 4 audit experience
• Internal audit / IT audit experience within the financial services industry
• Experience with Data Analytics testing is beneficial
• Must have knowledge of internal control and relevant internal audit techniques
