Key Responsibilities:
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT and networking.
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of networking, firewalls, and IT security.
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows server environments.
- Hands-on experience with virtual machine environments, such as Docker and Proxmox (setup, installation, and management).
- Strong MySQL database administration skills.
- Advanced understanding of network and database security.
- Experience with Fortigate firewalls is a significant advantage.
- Personal Attributes:
- Self-motivated, proactive, and takes the initiative.
- Strategic thinker with a strong focus on observability and problem-solving.
- Other Requirements:
- Own reliable transport is essential.
- Willingness to provide after-hours support when required.
- Comfortable interfacing with all levels of staff within the organization and external strategic suppliers.
