Position: ICT Security Administrator

Location: Midrand

Overall Purpose: We are seeking a dedicated ICT Security Administrator to implement, manage, and maintain security measures for our organization’s ICT systems and infrastructure. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and integrity of our digital assets.

Education:

Minimum requirement: National Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in information security or related fields.

Experience:

At least 3 years of experience as a System Administrator.
At least 3 years of experience as an ICT Security Administrator.

Key Responsibilities:

Security System Management: Configure and monitor security tools, update systems, and monitor network traffic.
Access Control: Manage user access and implement security measures.
Incident Response: Respond to and document security incidents.
Security Audits: Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance.
Training: Develop and deliver security awareness programs.
Vulnerability Management: Perform assessments and remediate vulnerabilities.
Documentation: Maintain security documentation and prepare reports.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong understanding of security protocols and best practices.
Proficiency in security tools and software.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and training abilities.
