KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Build and maintain constructive relationships with key stakeholders as an HR Service Partner to ensure an effective HR support service to designated areas of responsibility.
• Facilitate recruitment and selection process in order to ensure a diversified work force is timely sourced in and, organised and comprehensive procedure is followed.
• Provide overall HR support and advice to line managers and employees.
• Drive and support conceptualisation and implementation of Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Talent Development strategies
• Ensure implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Provide a first line Employment Relations and Wellness service to line managers
• Support the implementation of human resources projects in support of HR strategic objectives
• Perform all the HR-related administrative tasks within the scope of this job
• Maintain and enhance fit for the delivery organisation and people resources

REQUIREMENTS

A relevant Degree or Diploma (NQF 6) Degree in Human Resource or Industrial Psychology.

3 to 5 years of experience in an HR environment, of which 3 years must be at an HR Consultant level. In addition to the above requirement, candidates who possess the specifications below will have an added advantage:

Evident Experience in affirmative action and employee equity work;

Exposure to HR in a Higher Education environment
