Job Overview
The Hub Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Youth Centre, ensuring smooth functioning of all programs, including STEM, Entrepreneurship, Adult Learning (ABET), and Work Readiness. This position also involves managing a team of staff and engaging with beneficiaries to ensure effective delivery of services and support. The Hub Coordinator is responsible for maintaining high standards of facility upkeep and ensuring the centre’s resources are utilized efficiently. The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Program Coordination and Support

• Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all programs at the centre, including STEM, Entrepreneurship, Adult Learning (ABET), and Work Readiness.
• Ensure that all programs run smoothly and meet the set objectives and timelines.
• Collaborate with program facilitators to ensure the effectiveness of educational and skills development activities.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, and stakeholders to support the programs.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Youth Centre to ensure the facility is running efficiently.
• Ensure that the centre is well-maintained, clean, and safe for all users.
• Manage the resources, including technology and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
• Address any issues relating to the upkeep and maintenance of the hub, liaising with relevant maintenance teams when necessary.

• Supervise and provide guidance to the hub staff, including program facilitators and support personnel.
• Organize and facilitate staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to ensure high standards of service delivery.
• Ensure all staff adhere to operational policies, safety protocols, and guidelines.

• Ensure that beneficiaries (youth, adults, and other participants) receive the support and resources they need for personal and educational development.
• Manage beneficiary intake and orientation processes.
• Facilitate a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for all participants.
• Act as the main point of contact for beneficiaries, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.

• Maintain accurate records of program attendance, participant progress, and outcomes.
• Prepare reports on program performance, staff performance, and operational activities for the Hub Manager.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, procurement requests, and other administrative functions as required.

• Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
• Monitor and ensure the hub complies with all relevant legal requirements and organizational policies.

• Proven experience in coordinating or managing community-based programs, preferably in a youth or educational setting.
• Strong leadership and staff management skills.
• Experience in program management, with knowledge of STEM, Entrepreneurship, ABET, and Work Readiness programs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work independently.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and ability to implement them.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic administrative tools.
• A passion for supporting youth development and empowerment.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Work, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role (youth program coordination or management).
