Hotel Manager required for a hotel based in East London
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality standards and addressing guest concerns promptly and effectively.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Manage hotel staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Monitor financial performance and budgetary compliance, including revenue management, expense control, and profitability analysis.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote the hotel and maximize occupancy rates.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards for safety, hygiene, and guest accommodations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of local hospitality market trends and competition is desirable.
- Certification in hotel management or hospitality industry accreditation is a plus.
