SUMMARY:

About the Role

We are seeking a Hospitality Sales & Marketing Executive to drive business growth by developing marketing strategies and executing sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality sales and marketing, with a strong understanding of brand positioning, guest engagement, and revenue generation. This role requires a combination of strategic planning, digital marketing expertise, and hands-on sales experience.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development
- Identify and secure new business opportunities for hotels, resorts, restaurants, or hospitality services
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event planners
- Develop and execute sales plans to meet revenue targets
- Conduct market research to identify trends and customer preferences
Marketing & Brand Promotion
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and customer engagement
- Create compelling content for social media, websites, and promotional materials
- Manage online reputation, including guest reviews and feedback on platforms like Google, TripAdvisor, and social media
- Plan and oversee promotional events, trade shows, and sponsorships
Digital Marketing & Advertising
- Oversee social media management and digital advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads, email marketing)
- Optimize website content and SEO to drive organic traffic
- Analyze campaign performance and provide insights for optimization
Revenue & Performance Management
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed
- Collaborate with revenue management teams to optimize pricing and promotions
- Prepare reports on marketing effectiveness, sales conversions, and return on investment

Requirements

Degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry
Strong network within the hospitality sector (corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners)
Experience with CRM tools, digital marketing platforms, and social media management
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
Knowledge of hospitality industry trends and competitive landscape
Fluency in Afrikaans

Preferred Skills

Experience in luxury hospitality sales and marketing
Familiarity with revenue management and pricing strategies
Strong analytical skills for performance tracking and reporting
