SUMMARY:
Our Client in the construction industry is looking for a candidate with mandatory previous experience in a health & safety role, a national diploma/relevant qualification in occupational health & safety. SAMTRAC/NEBOSH certification or equivalent is advantageous, as well as First Aid and Fire Fighting certification would be a plus. SACPCMP registration required.

POSITION INFO:
Candidates need a strong understanding of occupational health & safety laws and best practices in construction. Experience in conducting risk assessments & audits on construction sites, knowledge of local H&S regulations & compliance requirements for construction. Individuals with a proactive, hands-on approach to workplace safety, strong leadership skills, the ability to influence behavior positively, handle high-pressure situations, resolve conflicts efficiently, and a strong understanding of SHE policies, legal compliance, risk assessments, and effective record-keeping.
