POSITION INFO:
Are you an accomplished banking professional with a passion for delivering exceptional results in wholesale banking? We’re seeking a visionary leader to drive growth, build strategic relationships, and oversee the wholesale banking division for a leading financial institution in Namibia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to expand the wholesale banking portfolio.
- Build and maintain relationships with high-value corporate clients and stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of banking professionals to achieve performance goals.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management frameworks.
- Drive product innovation to meet the evolving needs of corporate clients.
- Collaborate with other business units to deliver integrated financial solutions.
Qualifications & Experience: - A minimum of 10 years in the banking sector, with significant experience in wholesale or corporate banking.
- Proven track record of leading and managing teams at a senior level.
- Ability to develop and execute strategies that drive growth and profitability.
- Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate and maintain client and stakeholder relationships.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification (MBA or similar) is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated success in achieving business targets and driving revenue growth.
- Comprehensive understanding of banking regulations and risk management principles.
