This opportunity requires someone with extensive experience in tax, tax reporting, dividend tax and withholding taxes to name a few.

Job Description:

Implement processes for local tax reporting compliance.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting to avoid reputational risk.
Report tax data for South Africa and ARO, including IT3’s, DWT, WTI, FTCA, and CRS.
Assist with remediation for inaccuracies and minimize client impact.
Provide expert advice on reportable products; train and support divisions.
Maintain relationships with divisions, SARS, and industry bodies; attend meetings.
Monitor new regulations and advise on compliance.
Collaborate with IT on tax reporting functionality; ensure compliance.
Manage IRS registration and FATCA alerts; validate documentation.
Facilitate attestation and submit reports, addressing issues.
Direct and manage team performance and development.
Develop a talent management strategy.
Foster a high-performing team; ensure effective training.
Maintain succession planning; support recruitment.
Review headcount requests; manage leave and grievances.
Motivate employees and recognize their efforts; collaborate on CES action items.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Bachelor of Commerce Degree or related qualification
Post graduate in Tax is preferred
10+ years in taxation
5+ years managerial experience is essential
Financial services experience is essential
