SUMMARY:
A client in the Fintech space is looking for a Head of Software Engineering to join their IT Department, with a direct reporting line into the CIO. The main focus of this role will be to lead a team of talented software engineers, shape the technology strategy and optimize development workflows.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Requirements:

3 years within a leadership role within software engineering, managing teams of 10+ engineers
Strong technical background with experience in software development, architecture and design
Hands on programming experience (Java, Python, JavaScript)
Experience in working on modern technologies / frameworks such as Vue, React, Node.js, Docker
Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices (CI/CD, automated testing, cloud platforms)
Experience in SaaS or enterprise software development
