Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanical Engineer/Designer to lead their Mechanical Design team.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Matric
• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in 2D design software (e.g. AutoCAD, BricsCAD)
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (SolidWorks and BricsCAD preferred)
• Experience in creating manufacturing drawings and Bill of Materials
• Familiarity with designing weldments, pipe routing and sheet metal components
• Strong command of MS Outlook, Excel and Word
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Fundamental understanding of manufacturing processes
• Highly task-oriented and detail-focused
