SUMMARY:
Seeking a Head of Insurance.

POSITION INFO:
A prominent institution in the financial sector is seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking leader to take on the role of Head of Insurance.

This pivotal role involves overseeing the supervision of large, complex financial groups and conglomerates - including systemically important financial institutions (SIFIs) - with a focus on promoting financial stability, enhancing governance, and ensuring alignment with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the strategic direction and supervision of financial conglomerates and SIFIs.
Develop and implement effective supervisory frameworks.
Monitor regulatory compliance and manage key risks.
Oversee risk assessments, supervisory practices, and performance metrics.
Build and lead a high-performing team while driving a culture of accountability and development.

Key Requirements:

Post-graduate qualification in Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field.
10+ years’ experience in financial services, with a strong background in insurance.
At least 5 years in a senior leadership role within risk, governance, or financial oversight.
Expertise in risk-based supervision, corporate governance, and financial sector frameworks.
Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
