POSITION INFO:
We are looking for an experienced Head of Finance Assurance (Short-term Insurance) to lead our Finance/VAT compliance audits, due diligence processes, and internal financial reviews. If you have a strong audit background, sharp analytical skills, and a passion for financial controls, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a robust Finance/VAT assurance framework.
Conduct audits and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
Ensure timely resolution and closure of audit findings.
Enhance audit methodologies and improve working papers.
Assess internal controls and IT systems of prospective clients.
Identify control gaps and recommend mitigation strategies.
Present audit findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Oversee internal financial reviews and drive process automation.
Collaborate with business partners to strengthen financial governance.

Qualifications & Experience:

Chartered Accountant (CA) (SA) qualification required.
4 years + short term Insurance industry experience (outside of audit) is preferred.
