SUMMARY:
A Head of Finance (Assurance) is needed.

POSITION INFO:
We are looking for an experienced Head of Finance Assurance to lead our finance/VAT compliance audits, due diligence processes, and internal financial reviews. If you have a strong audit background, sharp analytical skills, and a passion for financial controls, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a robust finance/VAT assurance framework.
Conduct audits and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
Ensure the timely resolution and closure of audit findings.
Enhance audit methodologies and improve working papers.
Assess the internal controls and IT systems of prospective clients.
Identify control gaps and recommend mitigation strategies.
Present audit findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Oversee internal financial reviews and drive process automation.
Collaborate with business partners to strengthen financial governance.

Qualifications & Experience:

Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification required.
Strong audit experience, ideally in financial services.
Insurance industry experience is preferred.
