Position Overview:
As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, driving financial strategy, and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting. You will play a key role in partnering with senior leadership to optimize financial performance, provide strategic insights, and support key business decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in finance and a passion for the property sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring the efficient and accurate execution of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes.
• Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
• Oversee financial planning, analysis, and performance reporting to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, including JSE listing requirements.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure the financial health of the organization.
• Provide strategic insights to improve financial performance, including identifying opportunities for cost-saving and revenue growth.
• Manage external relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and other key stakeholders.
• Lead financial due diligence for potential acquisitions and investments.
• Support the preparation of the company’s annual budget and long-term financial forecasts.

• CA(SA)
• A minimum of 5 years of commercial finance experience, with at least 2 years within the property or real estate industry.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting in a complex, commercial environment.
• In-depth understanding of property finance, real estate investments, and capital management.
• Proven ability to work closely with senior management to drive business strategy and growth.
• Experience in dealing with JSE regulations and financial compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a finance team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
