As the Head of Advanced Data Science, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our data science and AI strategy. What You’ll Achieve:

• Strategic Impact: Design and execute data science projects that align with our strategic objectives, delivering measurable business impact in industries such as Property, Automotive, Retail, and Financial Services.
• Pioneering Innovation: Prototype new predictive and prescriptive models with a rapid iteration approach, enhancing our existing insights products and pioneering new solutions in narrow AI and machine learning.
• Advance Machine Learning Capabilities: Lead efforts to stay ahead of industry trends and technological advancements in machine learning.
• Explainable AI: Communicate complex analytical solutions to stakeholders at all levels, including clients and executive leadership, advancing our pursuit of explainable AI.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with data, software development, BI, production analytics, product, sales, and IT teams to effectively execute on the Analytics and AI strategy.
• Team Development: Mentor and grow the advanced data science team, fostering a culture of high-impact innovation and continuous development.

• BCom/BSc Honors/MCom/MSc/PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science with proven machine learning building experience.

• 10+ years of relevant analytical experience, with at least 3 years in ML/AI.

• Data Analysis: Exceptional ability to analyze and interpret data, developing insights products.
• Machine Learning: Strong understanding and practical application of statistical concepts and machine learning techniques.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Python, R & SQL required; experience with TensorFlow, Hugging Face, FastHTML, FastAPI, Flask, and Django is advantageous.
• Cloud Deployment: Familiarity with Docker containers and predictive model deployment in Microsoft Azure or similar.
• Programming Adaptability: Ability to adjust to different programming environments based on project needs.
• Professional Communication: Proficient in report writing, documentation, and other written communications.
• Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile concepts in a Data Science environment.
