We are looking for a dynamic leader in technology education to drive academic excellence and innovation. Oversee programme development, quality assurance, assessment management, faculty & student support, research, and growth initiatives.

POSITION INFO:

Academic Head School of Technology

Report to: Chief Academic Officer

Type: PermanentLocation: JHB - Northern Suburbs

Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a faculty of technology experts, maintaining high academic standards.
Develop technology programmes aligned with industry trends, promoting research and development.
Design, implement, and evaluate forward-thinking programmes with industry relevance.
Ensure quality assurance of assessments and alignment with objectives.
Mentor academic staff, monitor facilitators, and support student queries.
Supervise postgraduate research and contribute to publications.
Monitor enrolment numbers, collaborate with marketing for growth initiatives.

Requirements:
- A Master's degree in a technology-related field (PhD preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience managing a faculty or group of academic experts (7+ years preferred).
- Proven ability to lead academic teams, manage programme delivery, and maintain high academic standards.
- Strong research background and the ability to contribute to publications and thought leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both academic staff and students.
