SUMMARY:
A well-established financial services company is seeking to appoint a Head:Revenue and Expenditure Management, you will be responsible for providing direction in the analysis of revenue and maximization of efforts for all revenue streams of organisation.
In addition, the incumbent will direct and oversee the raising of all revenue to ensure liquidity, including legal debt recovery, analysis of and provisions for bad debts and to develop and maintain an effective spending model for the organisation to maximise revenue and decrease liability while optimizing liquidity ratio(s).

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Business Science.
Post graduate qualification in Finance/ Accounting/ Risk Management/ Business Science.
Post graduate qualification in Business Management or Administration will be an added advantage.
CA (SA) will be an added advantage.
At least 10-12 years’ relevant experience of which 5 (five) years must have been at a senior management level.
Experience with accounting software and statistical packages as well as forecasting methods and data analysis.
Revenue generation/ management in a public sector institution.
Give inputs into the overall Finance strategy development and implementation.
Lead the Implementation of the Revenue and Expenditure Management business strategy and plan which ensures alignment with short-term and long-term objectives of Finance Department and the Fund as a whole.
Lead the implementation and annual review of the overall Strategic Plan for the Revenue and Expenditure Management department.

Ability to explain budgeting and financial information in plain terms

MVA legislation knowledge advantageous.
PFMA knowledge.
King IV Report.
Protocol on good corporate governance in SOE’s.
