POSITION INFO:
Are you a newly qualified CA(SA) looking to apply your skills and knowledge in the property sector? Our client, a prominent company within the property industry, is seeking a driven and meticulous Accountant to join their head office in Cape Town. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to key accounting functions and build a strong foundation in a leading, fast-paced organisation.

Duties:

Assist with the preparation and consolidation of monthly and annual financial statements for the company’s operations.
Coordinate and assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Manage financial records for the company’s property portfolio, including rental income, property-related expenses, and lease agreements.
Perform bank, general ledger, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
Assist with preparing budgets and forecasts for the property portfolio, analysing variances, and reporting findings to management.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:
- Newly qualified CA(SA).
Experience:
- Previous experience in property accounting is essential, providing a strong understanding of property-related financial transactions and reporting.
