POSITION INFO:
Position Overview:
The Head of Business Unit – Operations/Finance will play a crucial role in overseeing the operational and financial aspects of the business unit. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial management, and a proven track record in optimizing business operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring financial stability, and enhancing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:
   
   • Develop and implement the business unit’s strategic plans, aligning them with the overall company strategy.
   • Identify growth opportunities and areas for operational improvement.
   • Set and ensure that targets are met and exceeded from a cost, quality, and time perspective.
2. Financial Management:
   
   • Oversee the financial planning and budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with company goals.
   • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
   • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
3. Operational Excellence:
   
   • Streamline business processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
   • Implement best practices in operations management, including supply chain, logistics, and customer service.
   • Develop and maintain KPIs to measure operational performance and productivity.
   • Implement and maintain ISO 9001:2015 standards throughout the company’s operations.
4. Team Leadership:
   
   • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
   • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration and coordination.
5. Risk Management:
   
   • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
   • Ensure robust internal controls and audit processes are in place.
6. Stakeholder Engagement:
   
   • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and partners.
   • Liaise with key customers on commercial aspects of the business related to the organization’s operations.
   • Represent the business unit in meetings, presentations, and industry events.
7. Supply Chain Management:
   
   • Manage the organization’s supply chain activities, including sourcing, procurement, and logistics, across both local and foreign markets.
   • Optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior operations or finance role, preferably within manufacturing sector.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive business growth.
• Proficient in [relevant software/tools, e.g., ERP systems, financial software].
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
