Handyman

SUMMARY:
Join a property management team in Johannesburg as a skilled Handyman, responsible for maintaining and repairing various properties. This role requires a proactive individual with strong practical skills and attention to detail, capable of handling a wide range of tasks.

POSITION INFO:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and property management teams.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations.
• Manage and maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist with emergency repairs as needed to maintain safety and functionality.
• Support additional property-related tasks as required.

• Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role within property management.
• Proficiency in building systems, such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Based in Johannesburg and available for emergency repairs when required.
• A technical qualification (e.g., plumbing, electrical, or carpentry) will be advantageous.
