SUMMARY:
HVAC Technician - in house

Our client based in the heart of George, is on a recruitment drive for a HVAC Technician to be based on site (in-house).
The ideal candidate must be extremely well organized, have the ability to multi-task and have excellent customer service skills.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Responsible for the installation and maintenance of all air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
• Carry out compliance testing as per manufacturer specs;
• Plan, allocate and oversee any work carried out by contractors.
• Set up preventative maintenance schedules
• Ensure a high standard of workmanship at all times.
• Assist tech manager to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Assist the Pool attendant with Minor pool maintenance if and when needed.
• General maintenance duties.
• Assist plumber as and when required.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications:

• Minimum of a grade 12 or equivalent
• trade test completed
• Gas knowledge and Gas card up to date
• 2 years working experience
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Valid Driver's License
• previous experience working for a hotel / resort or lodge would be hugely beneficial
