HVAC Design Engineer

An HVAC design company is seeking a Junior Designer to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated HVAC Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of HVAC systems in a variety of building projects, ensuring high efficiency and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC systems for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings, ensuring optimum performance and compliance with applicable standards.
• Prepare load calculations, ductwork, and piping layouts, as well as equipment selection.
• Produce detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for HVAC systems.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems into building designs.
• Perform energy analysis and implement energy-efficient solutions.
• Conduct site visits to review progress and ensure designs are being implemented correctly.
• Provide technical support and guidance during construction, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, codes, and regulations.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in HVAC design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and load calculation software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
