What we are looking for?

The HR coordinator position within the Village n Life group involves handling the hiring process, facilitating a successful transition for new employees and ensuring a smooth onboarding process, ensuring compliance with labour laws, and management of VNL Data vault across all Village N Life properties. The HR Coordinator will also support managers with performance reviews and assist with employee benefits and payroll questions. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources function, ensuring the efficient management of HR policies, data records, and compliance.

Minimum Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Organisational / Industrial Psychology or People Management.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the same or similar position. 

Relevant HR experience.

Hospitality experience is advantageous. 

Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Proficiency in HRIS (Psiber experience is advantageous) and Microsoft Office.

Skills:

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Coaching and mentoring of employees

Maintain positive relationships with managers and team members of the products and businesses within Village N Life
