SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

Education: Grade 12 and a relevant HR and Payroll (SAGE VIP) qualification.
Technical Skills: Microsoft packages, SAGE VIP
Driver’s License: Valid Code 8 with reliable transport.
Work Ethic: Ability to work under pressure, with a keen attention to detail and a solid understanding of all aspects of HR and Payroll.
Location: Durban - Sydney Road
Preferably a male candidate due to the nature of the businesses and responsibilities of this role.
Must have a clear criminal record.

Role and Responsibilities:

Maintain and update Employee filing system which ensures documentation is easily accessible
Assist with wage and salary-related ad-hoc projects
Wage and salary hours captured on SAGE VIP timeously to meet deadlines
Contract administration for fixed term employees
Resolving employee queries regarding administrative payroll matters.
Monthly reporting to Management on staff movements, absenteeism’s and leave cost accruals
Working in conjunction with HR Manager and Finance staff to ensure all payroll-related issues are resolved in a timely manner
