Our client in the construction industry is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources management, including industrial relations (IR) duties, union interactions, and disciplinary hearings. If you have a strong HR background and proven IR experience, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field
Proven experience as an HR Manager with strong IR expertise
Experience in union negotiations and collective bargaining will be beneficial
Strong knowledge of disciplinary processes, grievance handling, and CCMA proceedings
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Thorough understanding of South African labor laws and HR best practices
Payroll management
Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company objectives
Manage industrial relations (IR) matters, including disciplinary hearings, grievances, and CCMA cases
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee development
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
Advise and support management on employee relations and conflict resolution
Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures to maintain a productive workplace
