HR Manager

SUMMARY:
We are looking for an HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes.

POSITION INFO:

You will be the go-to person for all employee-related issues. Involve Management and business units with various HR/IR-related matters. Your guidance is important to business success, and you will be dedicated to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace that values and leverages the unique strengths of each individual. As an effective Change Agent with a history of building functions - HR Structure and HR Teams, turning around problematic situations. You will understand how to build sound relationships and consensus with unionized and non-unionized workers to effectively resolve grievances and arbitrations.

Requirements:

• Matric with relevant HR qualification - Degree/Diploma
• In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices
• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organisation
• Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
• Knowledge of HR systems and databases
• Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
• People oriented and results driven
• Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive
• Knowledge of payroll and relevant computer programs ie. - SAGE / SAP / VIP / PASTEL or other
• Advanced EXCEL skills
• CCMA / Bargaining Council experience

• Manage the recruitment and selection process
• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
• Develop and monitor HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the company.
• Nurture a positive working environment
• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high-performance
• Payroll management
• Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
• Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
