HR Development Manager (CPT DC & Retail Stores)

SUMMARY:
Leading food retail chain requires a seasoned HR Developent Manager to effectively manage the offering of a comprehensive people development service to the DCs and Retail stores in line with the core business strategy. Reporting to the Divisional Senior HR Manager.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• SDF Leadership with a minimum of 3yrs management experience
• Experience in the implementation of training-related legislation
• Support and lead the development of staff
• Team player who can also work independently
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
• Project management and diagnostic skills
• Must be passionate about human development
• Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all stakeholders

• Manage the full spectrum of training at both DC and Retail level
• Lead the Training Team
• Lead the DC culture plan and values
• Partnering with stakeholders in strategically positioning L&D in the business
• Drive Talent Management Programme through Individual Development Plans
• Design & execute divisional training plans in line with strategic objectives to meet DC, Academy and SETA objectives
• Market training programmes/interventions in terms of identified needs at DC & Retail
• Develop and manage training budget
• Determine the effectiveness of training programmes/interventions
• Manage learnerships, learning programmes and trainee programme in line with DC, Retail and SETA objectives
• Act as SDF for the DC (WSP, ATR & PIVOTAL grants)
• Maintain Stakeholder relationships with SETA’s, Learning Institutions and the WCED
• Provide SDF leadership and Guidance at retail
• Recover expenses and grants (discretional, mandatory and tax rebates)
• Manage training reports in line with Central office and SETA requirements
