SUMMARY:
Is your experience managing cash and banking from a group of retail stores, working on Excel, pulling data from POS system, reconciling information from cash drops & credit card machines?

Our client with their Head Office based in Cape Town Waterfront requires your experience preferable within the retail sector managing a group of stores for all POS and banking system reconciliations.

Must be bilingual in English and Afrikaans. Competent Excel skills essential! Must have strong numeracy skills, accurate work ethic, and precise attention to detail.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12 and min 5 years’ experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) ESSENTIAL
Retail experience highly advantageous
Accurate data entry skills with great attention to detail and dedication to quality.
Strong numeracy skills.
Ability to maintain data integrity and strong reporting skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Good teamwork skills and ability to work independently where required.
Ability to tackle challenges from different perspectives to problem solve.

DUTIES

Reconciliations – managing the days sales for 25 retail stores
Cash and banking role would require both Excel and Pastel inputs
Pulling data from the POS system (Point of Sale is Gaap)
Reviewing the banking of sales made which is reconciled to the slips from cash drops and credit card machine
Bank reconciliations
Delivery income reconciliations
Treasury
Banking reconciliations
Managing Point of Sale to Banking
Managing the Point of Sale reconciliations

Salary: R16 000 dependent on experience
