A leading company in the manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced Group SHEQ Manager to oversee safety, health, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) management. In this role, you will ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental regulations while fostering a safe and efficient working environment.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Management: Implement safety protocols, manage chemical handling, and ensure safe machinery operation.
• Health Management: Monitor and address health risks, including chemical exposure and repetitive strain injuries.
• Environmental Management: Drive sustainability by reducing waste and energy consumption, and ensuring proper disposal practices.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits, ensure compliance with quality standards, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain all necessary certifications and ensure adherence to local and national regulations.
• Training & Reporting: Conduct employee training, track safety audits, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Education: Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) and Bachelor's Degree (NQF Level 7 or higher preferred).
• Experience: 7-12 years in SHEQ management or similar roles, with experience in manufacturing, FMCG, mining, or hospitality industries.

Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and company software systems.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage conflict effectively.
