SUMMARY:
luxury lodge & hotel group based in Bryanston; Johannesburg
requires an experienced Reservations Manager with at least 5 years’
experience.
The Reservations Manager is responsible for managing the reservations
process and operation for the lodges and hotels, by training and
motivating the team to deliver quality service and meet financial targets
for the property. They also ensure that the reservations team adhere to
policies and procedures implemented by the properties.

POSITION INFO:
They will co-ordinate and supervise all staff that are employed
in the Central Reservations Department.
The position communicates with all departments in order to
ensure efficient and reliable service.
It is required that this individual will oversee the administration
of all rates and system requirements on the Central
Reservations System as well as the PMS systems.
Preparing reports on a daily weekly, monthly as well as when
required basis.
The overall management of inventory of the nine properties on
the Central Reservations System is required.
Through sound knowledge of Opera, Apex and eRES /Nebula,
this individual oversees the yielding and management of the
online travel agent systems and API links with preferred
partners.
Regular participation in the management meetings is required.
