POSITION INFO:

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• MBCHB (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery).
• Master’s Degree in Public Health or Business Administration.
• 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
• Current registration with the HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa).

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Deliver on the Clinical function’s operating plan.
• Lead and implement tactical strategies across all hospitals.
• Implement, monitor, and control clinical processes in line with quality standards, policy, compliance, and governance requirements.
• Develop, align, map, and implement standard operating procedures and processes across all hospitals.
• Review and audit existing processes to streamline operations, drive efficiencies, and manage clinical risk.
• Provide guidance and support to Allied and Clinical professionals across all hospitals.
• Collaborate with clinical risk functions and forums to drive Clinical and Quality measures.
• Develop and review policies in collaboration with clinical leads, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
• Lead the design and implementation of new Clinical products and services.
• Observe hospital sites for clinical safety and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Escalate non-conformance issues and put in place mitigating processes for corrective actions where needed.
