POSITION INFO:

Job Description:
As the Group Financial Reporting Manager, your duties involve the following:
Prepare and manage the group’s consolidated financial statements, ensuring full compliance with IFRS standards
Deliver timely and accurate monthly and annual financial reports to key stakeholders, including the executive team and board of directors
Oversee the preparation of financial reports required for regulatory filings, ensuring compliance and accuracy
Lead the consolidation process for multiple entities, ensuring precise intercompany eliminations and accurate reporting
Continuously enhance the financial consolidation system and processes to improve efficiency and precision
Manage the relationship with external auditors, ensuring a smooth and efficient annual audit process
Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements across all group entities
Oversee the management and upkeep of the group’s fixed asset register, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and adherence to accounting policies
Ensure accurate recording of capitalisation, depreciation, impairment assessments, and disposals in the fixed asset register
Collaborate with operational teams to track physical assets and resolve any discrepancies
Develop, document, and maintain strong internal control systems to protect financial integrity across the group
Offer strategic recommendations to improve financial and operational processes, enhancing controls and mitigating risks
Collaborate with Financial Managers and Department Heads to provide key data for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
Monitor and analyse financial data to support informed decision-making and highlight key trends
Lead, mentor, and develop the financial team, ensuring high performance while encouraging professional growth
Foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration within the finance department to drive success

Skills & Experience:
Excellent communication skills (including being fluent in both Afrikaans and English)
A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
IFRS knowledge
Advanced Excel skills
Proven experience in financial management
