DBN000066 – Group Finance Manager - Durban

Purpose of the Job:
To drive compliance, operational efficiency & business performance in a fast paced automotive manufacturing company.

Required Qualifications

1. Qualified CA (SA) or CIMA and completed articles
2. Minimum 5 years Post Articles working experience
3. Minimum 2 years management position
4. Working experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365

POSITION INFO:
Technical Competencies & Experience:

1. Full financial management and control function.
2. Managing the monthly consolidated management account preparation.
3. Assembling and preparing board packs for each quarter.
4. Yearly consolidated financial statement preparation in accordance with the Companies Act and IFRS.
5. Creating, evaluating, and assessing financial and operational forecasts and budgets.
6. Capital budget creation and upkeep for both ongoing operations and any new initiatives.
7. Managing taxes, including final & provisional income tax, VAT, STT
8. Overseeing the external audit procedure and resolving technological problems.
9. Overseeing the internal audit procedure and resolving problems with internal control.
10. Drafting of reports and offer technical (IFRS) insights for upcoming or prospective business transactions.
11. Establish a robust control environment, keep it up to date & promote ongoing development.
