Group Financial Manager

This strategic role oversees a team of Financial Managers, ensuring accurate reporting, consolidation, and robust financial governance across diverse subsidiaries. POSITION INFO:

Contribute to strategic direction as a key Exco member, aligning financial goals with business objectives
Present financial performance, forecasts, KPIs, and Solvency & Liquidity Reports to the Board and Exco
Oversee group financial consolidation, compliance with IFRS for SMMEs, and timely submission of financial reports
Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, HR, and intercompany financial processes
Lead the annual audit process, finalise AFS, and ensure tax compliance, including ITR14 submissions and SARS audits
Monitor internal controls, financial systems, and risk management across credit, currency, and fluctuations.
Approve and monitor budgets, conduct variance analysis, and recommend strategic adjustments
Analyse financial performance, guide cost-saving initiatives, and implement lean financial practices
Collaborate with operations to assess financial implications of production, pricing, and changes
Oversee treasury functions, cash flow management, and capital structure strategy
Conduct financial due diligence for investments and report FDI, royalty payments, and intermediary services to SARB

Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience post-articles or a total of 8 years of professional work experience.
5 to 7 years of proven expertise in financial management.
Prior experience serving at the Exco level and FMCG is essential.
Proficiency in SAGE X3 ERP or SYSPRO ERP systems is required.
Budget and forecast, group consolidation experience
