What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead with Vision: Direct the Operational Risk team, ensuring robust risk management through assessments, event reporting, and control self-assessments.
• Roll Out the Framework: Drive the implementation of the operational risk framework, including risk assessments and appetite metrics.
• Strategic Reporting: Work with the Chief Risk Officer to improve risk performance dashboards and deliver reports to the Risk Management Committee.
• Culture Champion: Promote a risk-aware culture across the bank through workshops and knowledge sharing.

• Must have banking experience (this is non-negotiable!)
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in operational risk management, with at least 5 years in managerial roles in the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong experience in change leadership and transformation within the operational risk environment.
• A master of analytical skills, risk assessments, and capital assessments. Bonus points for Excel mastery!
• A natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal – to engage at all levels, internally and externally.
