SUMMARY:
Stunning Nature Estate is looking for a GROUNDSMAN/MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT
POSITION INFO:
Candidate requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with grounds, equipment and building maintenance. Ideally on a remote lodge or farm.
- Driver’s License (essential), own transport (preferred)
- Fluent English - Working Language and Good Afrikaans
- Good health and physical mobility.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Attention to detail
- Stable work history and contactable references.
- Sober habits + Non Smoking
- Must be able to prioritise tasks and manage a small team 4-5 staff.
- Requires strong technical skills: basic electrical, plumbing, sewerage, gas geysers, borehole pumps, pressure pumps, solar power, grounds and building maintenance, pools, fencing, fireguards and road maintenance.
- Knowledge of first aid and safety regulations and procedures.
- Start Date: Latest June 2025
Package:
- Salary R12-15kpm negotiable, DOE
- 45 hours per week
- 21 days annual leave
- Staff uniform
- 1 meal per day when on duty
