We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our team and help ensure the smooth operation of our organization's desktop / computer systems and providing technical assistance to our employees and retail stores.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues, both in person and remotely.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, operating systems, and applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems promptly to minimise downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and implement solutions for complex technical issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of support activities, configurations, and user issues.
• Assist in the setup and support of audio-visual equipment and conference room systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and industry developments related to desktop support.

• South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34
• Must not have participated on the YES Programme before
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in relevant IT fields will be to your advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
