General Manager (Food Services / FMCG / Retail)

POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a dedicated General Manager to oversee our client's operations in the Eastern Cape region. Based in Port Elizabeth, the ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a dynamic team, developing strategies to drive business growth, and ensuring operational excellence. You will play a key role in the success and profitability of the company. Duties and responsibilities:

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations
Develop and implement business strategies
Drive business growth and profitability
Ensure operational excellence and efficiency
Provide leadership and direction to the team
Play an active role in growing the Food Services Client base

If you have a background in Food Services /Packaging FMCG/Retail/Wholesale/sectors, along with very strong managerial skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would like to hear from you.
Diploma / Degree or equivalent qualifications and proven experience in a General Manager role in the Food Services / FMCG / Retail Sectors are imperative.

Additional qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 5 years experience in an FMCG, Food Services Industry
Minimum of 5 years experience in a Management Position
Sales Management experience advantageous
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
Customer focused
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to lead a team with excellence
