Salary: R37 000 to R47 000 pm

Are you an experienced civil construction professional with a passion for leading and managing successful projects? Civil construction company is seeking a Civil Construction Production Manager/General Foreman to oversee and drive excellence on a variety of civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction teams on projects including pipelines, earthworks, roads, and concrete works.
• Implement and ensure compliance with construction methods in line with SANS 1200 standards.
• Organize and direct daily site activities to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Train and mentor emerging foremen and labor teams, fostering growth and skill development.
• Oversee plant and equipment management to ensure operational efficiency.
• Manage contracts, public relations, and client/employer relationships effectively.
• Maintain strong organizational and communication practices to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a Production Manager/General Foreman role on civil construction projects.
• Education: Passed Grade 12 / NQF4; a relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.
• Skills & Knowledge:
• Proven expertise in managing construction teams and delivering high-quality results.
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies and compliance with SANS 1200.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to mentor and upskill team members for long-term project success.
• Proficiency in man-management and contractual oversight.
• Licenses: Valid Code EB or higher driver''s license.
