GRAPHIC DESIGNER – Century City, Cape Town

6 MONTH CONTRACT (Start Immediately!)

Our Client, a highly reputable Global Financial Services concern is currently recruiting for a creative and skilled Graphic Designer to join them a 6-month fixed term contract.

You will have a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in visual design, branding, and digital media.

Main Purpose of the Role:

Be responsible for leading design projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, as well as delivering high-quality creative solutions that align with their brand and business objectives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the conceptualization and execution of design projects, including branding, marketing collateral and social media graphics

• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines.

• Collaborate with marketing, product, and other teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective design solutions.

• Ensure all designs align with the company’s brand guidelines and visual identity.

• Develop and maintain design systems, templates, and style guides.

• Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback to refine and finalize deliverables.

• Work closely with external vendors, such as printers or developers, to ensure seamless execution of design projects.

• Preparing presentations and supporting graphics for Management using PowerPoint.

• Preparing business proposals for all relevant stakeholders

• Creation and editing of videos for both internal and external use.

Qualification, Skills and Experience required:

• Senior Certificate, Relevant Diploma/Degree, or an equivalent qualification in Graphic/Digital Design Diploma/Degree Graphic/Digital Design short courses
• 5 Years overall graphic design experience gained with 3+ years corporate graphic design experience gained
• Proven design software knowledge with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator is required
• Exposure to Photoshop Video editing skills and front-end web development skills is advantageous!
