Seeking experienced engineering and project management professional to contribute to the successful execution of a mineral processing facility.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering
- GCC Mines and Works, minimum
- 8+ years of experience in mining & mineral processing
Key Responsibilities:
- GCC (mines and works) Hold the legal appointment in terms of Section 2.13.1 of the MHSA, taking responsibility for the safety and legality of all electrical work on site.
- Ensure that all electrical installations, modifications, and maintenance work comply with MHSA regulations, national standards, and company safety policies.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment for the project.
- Ensure that electrical designs and installations meet project specifications, industry standards, and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems into the overall project design.
- Manage and supervise electrical contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of electrical works
