Duties:

Develop and maintain frontend and backend components of web applications.
Design, implement, and optimise APIs and database structures to ensure efficient data flow.
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using modern programming languages and frameworks.
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to create user-friendly applications.
Ensure security, performance, and scalability in all development processes.
Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full technology stack.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute to best practices.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Honour’s degree in related field will be advantageous.

Experience:

3 - 5 years of experience in fullstack development.
Proven track record of delivering scalable web applications in an agile environment.
Experience in optimising application performance and debugging complex issues.
Previous work in cross-functional teams, collaborating with designers, product managers, and QA engineers.

Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Strong experience with backend development using Node.js, Python, Java, C#, or PHP.
Expertise in working with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Firebase.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
