Family Friendly Breakaway spot is looking for a MAINTENANCE AND FRONT OF HOUSE COUPLE to join their team

POSITION INFO:
This is a great little weekend spot for families and pet lovers that offer both chalets as well as camping options for families and friends alike. Perfect for outdoorsy people who enjoy spending some time in nature, whether it be birding or taking a leisurely bike ride.

Candidate requirements:

• Driver’s License and own transport
• Fluent English, written and spoken as well as good Afrikaans
• Ability to work independently and under pressure with great attention to detail
• Sober habits and non-smoker

• Degree or Diploma in hospitality preferable
• Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
• Great administrative skills with knowledge on stock and maintaining stock levels
• Excellent client and interpersonal skills to deal with difficult situations.
• Computer literate with Nightsbridge and SAGE knowelegde (beneficial)
• Professional & well groomed.
• Can work independently and as part of small multicultural team.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with grounds, equipment and building maintenance. Ideally on a remote lodge or farm. ​
• Must be able to prioritise tasks and manage a small team 4-5 staff.
• Requires strong technical skills: basic electrical, plumbing, sewerage, gas geysers, borehole pumps, pressure pumps, solar power, grounds and building maintenance, pools, fencing, fireguards and road maintenance.
• Knowledge of first aid and safety regulations and procedures.
